I hated the jilting of granny weather because lit was hard to keep up with and it talks about losing realign at the ned and the granny favorite child was one she lost in birth like how can that be your favorite when you didn’t even know that child and see it group before you eyes like i can’t stand how parents have favorites when the favorite is always a spoiled brat. I do think this piece of literature should be continued to be taught in the class just because it shows stream of consciousness but i don’t think its the best story in the world and i feel there are better pieces out there that sho stream of conciseness and i hope other people enjoyed this story more than i have.

My favorite lit piece had to be The Worn path because that granny traveled not for herself but for the boy and it was really great to know that someone would do something so wonderful even though they can’t walk very well and are so old they are about to die. I also loved how this story had a second meaning of the granny coming back ti life after going to heaven its crazy how people can write such wonderful pieces of literature without eve trying. I have not shared this story with anyone but if i did i would share it with my granny because i know she would do the same thing for me if she had to an it would make her day i thought so highly of her.

everyone has someone in their family that feels the deserve everything and they are entitled to everything the sad truth is in my family my sister is this way if i have something she wants she gets it by demanding my parents the problem is parents never say no to these children because they are the favorites and the parents don’t want to upset them. People don’t want stuff until they realize its valuable to someone else because if they have it it holds power over the person who cherishes it. the problem is many people don’t want thing that have no meaning or value but want to take something that one holds dear because if that person cherishes it maybe they will too it gives them a feeling of they won and the person who always takes the cherish able item always need to feel like they won some how

Mr shiftless is worse than the mother but the mother is a very bad lady and very dumb for trusting a man she barely knew with her one and only daughter. the mother is bad for telling mr shiftless that she know he will do right that she would never give her daughter to just anyone yet she gives her to mr shiftless in less than a week the whole time throughout the reading the mother was trying to get a man to work around the house and the care of her daughter what she didn’t realize though is that mr. shiftless was a terrible man for marrying the girl and leaving her at a diner just because he felt bad and started to feel guilty mr shiftless wanted one thing and one thing only the car and he did whatever he had to do to get the car. the mother should have known better than to let them leave because she will never see her daughter again.

Doing something right is something that is very tricky because its a matter of opinion in a weird way because to me doing right means to do exactly what needs to be done no matter how you feel about it or how it will affect your life the problem is many people don’t grasp this concept and will do right half way because the other half is to hard for them and they feel it will change their lives forever. when you do right you get rewarded doing right is kind of like the golden rule treat others how you would want to be treated because if you do right by others they will do right by you. best thing to do is give everything your all and try to be the best person you can be no matter how hard it is and how hard what comes next will be

the ending of a streetcar named desire is nothing like the ending in a gilded six bit and never will be because stanley is a horrible man and stella has finally seen that what once made her crazy in love now scares her because he is more beast than a man. the baby in the gilded six bits changed everything the baby in a streetcar named desire didn’t affect stanley in any way. I think that stella is going to continue to be scared of stanley for what he has done and what he has become. I also think stella deserves way better than stanley because she is a good person she might want a “man” but she got more than she bargained for. Mitch is an odd character i feel he means well but i think he just got a crappy ending and he deserves someone that make him happy and blanche wasn’t it.

This is a very dark play and one of the darkest moments was defiantly when stanley rapes blanche. this was a dark moment because he was being very violent and aggressive before he slammed her head into the mirror the scary thing is she knew something was about to happen this why she busted the bottle and told him to stay back. this dark moment is so affecting to the reader because it show the pure brute strength and aggression in stanley and how he really is an animal like figure and try to prove his masculinity. I really don’t think this play could have had a happy ending because of how everything played out because stanley forced his self on blanche then stella left stanley while she has a newborn baby and blanche ended up going to the crazy house the only thing that could have made it happy is if blanche and stella ran away from there together .

phoenix jackson is avery old lady that is only still alive to take care of her grandson. she goes through many experiences to get to town and does this often to help her grandson. i think she redeems the young lady who ties her shoe because even though the lady had her hands full she still put down everything to help old phoenix jackson out. the young women could have just brushed her off or even told her she had her hands full but instead she gladly put her stuff down and ties the old lady shoes. phoenix defiantly had a hand in redeeming this women because she asked her and the women did it gladly. phoenix is a name that means life after death like the phoenix bird in harry potter it dies ad fro the ashes is reborn so i think the name has to do with redeeming others.

in 1965 was the big civil rights march by martin luther king and this probably impacted a lot of writers because they changed there writing from wars to that of the civil rights and what the people wanted and needed instead of the war that was going on and the stuff taking place over seas. this changed the life of many americans because everyone wanted to be equal black people white people asians everyone wanted to be equal and it made a change like the united states had never seen before and it impacted the writers even to today because they could right about things and not worry about what would be said or how they would look because there was change a coming thanks to martin luther king.  the Vietnam war was also getting bigger and crazier so the people had two battles going on at once the battle of civil rights and the battle over seas.

the memory that bothers me the most is the memory where the special boy protects the farm and not just what the boss told him to but everything. it bothered me because the boy shot the man for doing what he thought was right and still got punished for it. i don’t think many people would focus on the things he is thinking about before death but i also think that he is doing this because it is stuff that bothers him and before death most people will think about things they regret and wish they could change. i feel that if i was in his shoes i would probably look at life as he si thinking of all the things i could have done or should have done differently. i feel harry is just ready to die he knows its going to happen and he wants it to happen faster.
